This listing is for a brand new pair of Silver Lake Fabrication brand Yanmar YL series quick attach loader plates that are designed SPECIFICALLY to match up with the River Valley Machine (located in Dubuque, Iowa) universal skid steer quick attach coupler (SSQA coupler).
THE SSQA COUPLER IS NOT INCLUDED AND THIS LISTING IS ONLY FOR THE YANMAR STYLE QUICK ATTACH PLATE SET.
These plates are designed to fit the Yanmar proprietary quick attach system that comes from the factory on Yanmar SA324 model tractors that are equipped with Yanmar YL series loaders, such as the YL210. Our in-house designed and tested Yanmar YL series quick attach loader plates are CNC cut from 3/4" thick mild steel and have the appropriate shape to match right up with the River Valley Machine SSQA coupler box as stated above, and all you have to do is line them up and weld them onto that coupler box. Over the years, we've used this same coupler dozens of times to adapt customer's tractors to SSQA, and we even installed one on our prior shop tractor. The RVM coupler is a reverse engineered New Holland LS series skid steer design and even uses all genuine New Holland moving parts (pins, springs, handles). The RVM coupler is simply the highest quality blank skid steer quick attach coupler on the market at this time, so we designed our Yanmar weld-on plates to work with it. That means that if you want to convert your Yanmar to be able to use skid steer quick attach implements, this really is THE way to do it.
So what do you need to adapt your Yanmar to take skid steer quick attach impliments? You need our Yanmar style plates sold here, the River Valley Machine universal quick coupler, and a welder. Pin the plates onto your loader, place the coupler face-down on a flat surface, lower your loader arms with the plates onto the coupler to hold the plates in place, and weld it up! Please also be aware that you have to shorten the handles on the RVM coupler to clear the cross bar on your loader (see note and diagram below). As we have mentioned above, we only sell the 3/4" steel Yanmar style quick attach plates here and YOU have to weld it to the RVM SSQA coupler that YOU have to purchase directly from the manufacturer. We do NOT offer the whole system assembled with our plates mounted to the RVM coupler.
THIS LISTING IS ONLY FOR THE TWO YANMAR STYLE PLATES FOR THE COUPLER.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The handles on the River Valley Machine SSQA coupler require modification to clear the cross bar on your stock Yamnar quick attach rack. The portion of the handle that is pointed out in the diagram below needs to have 2" removed from it. This means that you have to cut out a 2" long section from each handle and weld them back together. The handles are cast steel parts (not cast iron) and can easily be welded. We have provided a diagram below showing where this has to happen.
