Model 2550 School sold between 1988-1990.
100% complete (plus extras), both SCHOOL & SLIDE-OUT PLAYGROUND sides + all accessory pieces.
Also includes 2 extra children, so the set now includes all children that were originally sold.
FP often sold sets with variations, and in this case, they used 6 children for this set, only 4 of which were included at any given time.
Usually they removed either the girl with glasses, the Asian boy, the African-American boy, or the African-American girl, switching them out for the orange girl without glasses or the yellow Caucasian boy.
I like having all the kids included, to make a beautifully representative classroom, so I am including all of these.
Everything functions as it should. A nice action set - kids slide off the school roof, into a barrel, jiggle along the school lunch line, and ride the bus and jump rope.
There is a 2-seat teeter-totter that makes a "boing" sound, and a yellow balance beam with a lever that moves a twirling seat for the little people kids - (when the lever is moved from one side of the balance beam to the other side, the Little Person twirls as he or she moves across the beam).
The center of the playground base has a Hopscotch litho.
The playground back "wall" has an orange gate that slides in-and-out and makes a clicking sound as it's moved.
Minor flaws may be expected with a set of vintage toys 30 years old but set is in Very Good to Excellent condition overall. Excellent paper graphics - smooth and bright, no pieces missing.
No major defects OTHER THAN the blue "CHALKBOARD" litho is missing.
A replacement one, plus chalk, can be obtained for (including shipping) through another eBay vendor

Teacher - with GLASSES (HTF) is at the end of her day so her hair in the back is a bit flyaway.
BOX IS IN FAIR TO GOOD CONDITION, with taping in places.
This can be a nice set for younger children, as there are no particularly expensive or hard to replace pieces, everything is plastic and easily washed, the lithos tend to stay down well, and there is nothing fragile or with joints to break. Just not for kids who still put things in their mouths a lot.

You won't have to spend an hour or two scrubbing
up all the little nooks and crannies and Little People
necks. It will arrive ready for play, display, or wrapping.

SHIPPING ONLY AVAILABLE WITH FEDEX or UPS - ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR USPS. I have found that FedEx or UPS are the best options for large heavy packages. I will go with the least expensive one. The eBay calculator always charges the buyer far too much for FedEx/UPS, and rather than refunding, I prefer to build a fair cost into the price, since I've done this a lot and am now able to roughly estimate what it will cost. This is a large box since the original box is included and must be cushioned, so I am estimating in shipping cost, as far as the coasts. BUT if I have estimated wrong by over , for example if you live closer, I will issue you a refund for any amount I pay that is less than to ship. A good example is that I can probably get it to Chicago for , so you'd get back if you were from that area.
HOWEVER I am aware that FedEx/UPS doesn't ship everywhere.
