    Description

I think this is a  American Character Sweet Sue Walker doll.  She is 20" and unmarked.  She came with a hand written tag that showed 1955 American Character Bride but I am not certain.  She has a beautiful face but does have some issues.
She is a very beautiful doll with a wonderful vintage bride dress even with her issues.
She is in vintage condition and sold as is.  Please ask any questions to make sure you are happy with your new doll.
She has a few issues.  The head seems to sit too high, the vinyl/rubber on the upper arms is pulled out of the shoulder, the right upper leg is painted a different color and she has some cracks on the right leg at the knee.  The hair is rooted and has a separate piece that fits onto the head for the hair and part of this piece is coming out.  Some lashes missing on both eyes
.  She has some scratches and marks that would not come off with my cleaning.  The legs do not stand completely straight, she will need a stand.
See info from Doll Reference below.
She has sleep eyes that work correctly.  Upper eye lashes and painted lower lashes.  Her upper eye lashes have some lashes missing in the middle, see pictures.
She is a walker doll and when you move the legs the head turns.
She move at the head, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees.  She is hard plastic except for the arms.  The arms are covered with vinyl or rubber and they are soft and flexible.
Her upper arms have a ball joint under the soft vinyl or rubber and the material is slipping off the ball joints.  I have tried to push it back into the shoulder area but it will not go in.  The arms are connected with a spring.  I do not see how to remove the spring to fix the arms, maybe someone is familiar with this to fix the arms.  You can pull out the lower legs and then will bend.   When you pull out he lower legs you can see a metal mechanical mechanism rather than elastic.   Both the arms and legs have springs and metal attachments not elastic stringing.    He had seems to sit too high on the metal attachment for the head.
She comes with the doll, underwear, slip, dress and shoes.  NO socks.  The outfit is vintage and shows age and wear.  The dress needs to be cleaned but it is too delicate for me to wash.  Right shoulder seam is coming apart on the dress.  No closure on hooped slip, I pinned it closed.
